Stuerktend was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Storkzand by marrying Skesskal. He was cautious, patient and skeptical. From year 184 he was at the head of Stianess until his death. He gave House Storkzand its name, and its motto: “Let those who come tremble”. He decided to ration the grain (3 times) and to lift the rationing (2 times). He lived under the rule of Mosskos, Tuindtuend, Sauchia, Salziark and Mendbrark. He knew hunger in Stianess. When he died, House Storkzand counted one other member. He died of hunger in the winter of year 188, at the age of 61. The house he founded would go out in the spring of year 189.
