Skesskal was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Storkzand by marrying Stuerktend. She was easily content, humble and pious, with a gift for leading others. From year 188 she was at the head of Stianess until her death. She lived under the rule of Mosskos, Tuindtuend, Sauchia, Salziark and Mendbrark. She knew hunger in Stianess. She died of hunger in the spring of year 189, at the age of 60. With her death House Storkzand went out.
