Skonllend was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Sailsiath by marrying Briachias. He was bold, proud and rash, with a gift for dealing with people. In the spring of year 280 he married Merktand, and was widowed in the autumn of year 290. He gave House Sailsiath its name, and its motto: “One table, one roof”. Dada became his enemy. He lived under the rule of Mendbrark, Duirklath, Gaundllond, Sandresgo, Dada, Sausra, Mosthau and Skuelgaun. He saw Llodun founded. He knew hunger in Zailira. He died of old age in the autumn of year 292, at the age of 64. With his death House Sailsiath went out.
