Chogais was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Melskue by marrying Tairkthan. He was cautious, humble and vengeful. He gave House Melskue its name, and its motto: “What is one's is all's”. He lived under the rule of Densond, Mosskos, Tuindtuend and Sauchia. He knew hunger in Mueness. When he died, House Melskue counted 4 other members. He died swept away by a river in flood in the winter of year 149, at the age of 33. The house he founded would go out in the spring of year 181.
