Thauro was born among the common folk and entered House Chianchain. He was easily content, greedy and pious, with a gift for the old lore. From year 196 he was at the head of Mueness until his death. He gave House Chianchain its name, and its motto: “What endures, remains”. He decided to ration the grain and to lift the rationing. He lived under the rule of Sauchia, Salziark and Mendbrark.
