Gaunddo was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Rarkgark by marrying Maindais. He was ambitious, generous and pious. He gave House Rarkgark its name, and its motto: “No one eats alone”. He lived under the rule of Mendbrark, Duirklath, Gaundllond, Sandresgo, Dada, Sausra and Mosthau. He saw Llodun founded. He knew hunger in Llodun. When he died, House Rarkgark counted one other member. He died of hunger in the winter of year 278, at the age of 60. The house he founded would go out in the winter of year 279.
