Braunlue was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Braidas by marrying Laichiath. He was ambitious, loyal and proud, with a gift for dealing with people. He gave House Braidas its name, and its motto: “Let those who come tremble”. He lived under the rule of Sauchia, Salziark and Mendbrark. He knew hunger in Llaness. He died of hunger in the winter of year 205, at the age of 45. With his death House Braidas went out.
