Skauszui was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Brendbrand by marrying Gaitueth. He was ambitious, humble and patient, with a gift for dealing with people. He gave House Brendbrand its name, and its motto: “What is one's is all's”. He lived under the rule of Mendbrark. He knew hunger in Stianess. When he died, House Brendbrand counted one other member. He died of hunger in the spring of year 204, at the age of 9. The house he founded would go out in the summer of year 205.
