Mathmuirk was born among the common folk and entered House Brarkdaith. She was ambitious, forgiving and skeptical, with a gift for leading others. From year 133 she was at the head of Llaness until her death. She gave House Brarkdaith its name, and its motto: “A firm arm”. She lived under the rule of Densond, Mosskos and Tuindtuend. She knew hunger in Llaness. She died of hunger in the winter of year 136, at the age of 12. With her death House Brarkdaith went out.
