Gasguis was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Marklial by marrying Skothllai. He was bold, proud and skeptical, with a gift for leading others. In the autumn of year 98 he married Zaindlla. He gave House Marklial its name, and its motto: “No one eats alone”. He lived under the rule of Skairkta, Londruin, Daunmend, Mondrais, Manra and Densond. He saw Zailira founded. He knew hunger in Mueness. When he died, House Marklial counted one other member. He died of old age in the summer of year 115, at the age of 63. The house he founded would go out in the winter of year 120.
