Duesthia was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Briastaith by marrying Gaultiand. He was forgiving, generous and humble, with a gift for dealing with people. In the winter of year 80 he married Taurkbra. He gave House Briastaith its name, and its motto: “One table, one roof”. He lived under the rule of Londruin, Daunmend, Mondrais and Manra. He saw Zailira founded. He knew hunger in Mueness. He died of hunger in the autumn of year 81, at the age of 19. With his death House Briastaith went out.
