Bruetaun was born among the common folk, with no house or name in the chronicles, and entered House Chueschuin by marrying Skangaund. He was generous, humble and patient, with a gift for the old lore. He gave House Chueschuin its name, and its motto: “What endures, remains”. He lived under the rule of Mondrais, Manra and Densond. He knew hunger in Zailira. He died after a fall from a half-built roof in the winter of year 108, at the age of 34. With his death House Chueschuin went out.
