The premiseA world with no script
Chronisle begins as an empty island. Nobody writes its history in advance. Terrain, climate, rivers, species and peoples come from laws, and what happens next comes from those laws too. The same seed always replays the same story, but a seed is not a plot: nothing is decided beforehand.
The communityA single god, many voices
Players do not control anyone. Together they act as one god: they propose acts, vote on them, and the world answers. A harvest blessed here is a drought somewhere else. Every wish has a price.
Voting is not live yet. Season 0 is a pre-simulated world, revealed chapter by chapter, so you can see what the engine already does before you take part.
The peopleLives of their own
Inhabitants are born, work, starve, rule and die. They are named, they belong to houses, and they remember. Their world obeys realistic laws in the spirit of "hard magic": everything has a cost and a cause, and the epic comes out of the rules rather than around them.
Laws with a price
Energy, food, water, distance and time constrain everyone, gods included.
Named people
Hundreds of people with names, houses and heirs, not anonymous counters.
No tech tree
Societies combine what they know. The aim is a world that invents things we did not program.
The chronicleWhat really happened
A chronicle tells the story as a book. Every line is checked against what the simulation actually did. And every headline has a Why? that follows the chain of causes down to the numbers.

The worldIt evolves on its own
Species appear, split and go extinct; rivers shift; settlements rise and fall. The long-term goal is open-ended evolution: societies that recombine what they have into inventions nobody scripted, and that change how they live because of them.
